The project advisory board ensures that the data collected for the high-quality life cycle inventory and assessment are precisely those that play an important role in industrial production and that represent the greatest possible leverage for efforts to make batteries more environmentally friendly. In addition, the Advisory Council contributes to data collection in a number of ways. Advisory board members will come from industry as well as scientific and political institutions in order to consider economic, scientific and regulatory aspects equally. In this way, the Project Advisory Board provides an overarching platform for the exchange of information between the various stakeholders along the guidelines set out by the Battery Regulation, but which now need to be put into practice in a good way.
